Allan Holdsworth Trio

In his early days Allan Holdsworth played with legendary UK Jazz Fusion outfits Soft Machine and Gong, then formed bands with Bill Bruford (King Crimson) and Jean-Luc Ponty (John McLaughlin's Mahavishnu Orchestra) before starting out on a long and distinguished solo career that has seen him hailed, by fellow virtuoso guitarists Frank Zappa, Edward Van Halen and Steve Vai amongst others, as the finest electric guitarist the world has ever seen.
